Members Present: Chairman Ken Selzler, Supervisor Paul Zent, Road Supervisor Chad Schneider, Treasurer Mark Enzell, Weed Board Terry Mauch & Zoning Board Rick Solberg.

Members Absent: Clerk, Cyndy Meidinger, Zoning Board Jerry Kunz & Supervisor Olson.

Chairman Selzler opened the meeting since clerk Meidinger was not present the minutes were not available for approval.

School Board Report:  Apple Creek School Board hired 2 new teachers one for 1st grade & 1 for 3rd grade. There was discussion on the parking lot upgrade. ACT would be willing to pay for the crushed asphalt with the school board paying for the labor. The discussion was tabled until August when the school board representative would inform the supervisors the school board’s decision.

Zoning Board Report: No report.

Weed Board: Supervisor Mauch reported he had one resident approach him about spraying for noxious weeds on private property. Terry contacted Gary Hartman @ the county weed board and Gary said the county does not do private land but would help the owner out with at cost share.

Assessor’s Report: There was a discussion on the $27,000 charged by the county for assessing in the township. It was decided Chairman Selzler would contact the county and request an itemized bill for the charges before payment will be made.

Building Inspectors’ Report: Inspector Whitney had a request from David Markwed for a revision for his pole building.

Road Supervisor’s Report:  Supervisor Schneider reported trees down on 76th Ave SE from the storm he also had 2 approach permits. He also had a bill from Burleigh County for gravel hauling on South 66th St. there is also water backing up in the ditches but that is the responsibility of the City of Bismarck.

Treasurer’s Report:  Supervisor Zent made a motion to pay all bills presented 2nd by Chairman Selzler. Roll Call Vote: Supervisor Zent yes, Chairman Selzler yes Motion Carried.

Other Business: There has been a complaint about the noise from kids riding atvs on an empty lot off Majestic & 48th Ave.  A complaint letter will be sent.

With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned by Chairman Selzler.
