ACT Board of Supervisors Meeting

In Attendance: Monte Sicble, Gaylen Dewing, Dan Reis, Jerry Kunz, Terry Woehl, Dusty Hasper, Roy Kuil, Stephen Schnaible, and Randy Strom.
1. Call to Order
Chairman Dewing called the meeting to order at 7:02pm
2. Minutes Review
A. Corrections and approval of the Minutes from the previous meeting.
Supervisor Sicble made a motion to approve the April '24 meeting minutes.
Supervisor Reis 2nd the motion.
Vote: Dan - Yes, Gaylen - Yes, Monte - Yes
Motion approved.

4. New Business
a. Apple Creek Country Club liquor license renewal
Supervisor Reis made a motion to approve the liquor license for Apple Creek Country Club.
Supervisor Sicble 2nd the motion.
Vote: Dan - Yes, Gaylen - Yes, Monte - Yes
Motion approved.
5. Area Reports
A. School Board Report - Terry Woehl
Terry indicated that a new upgraded camera system is going to be installed by BEK
This will give them twice the coverage with the same number of cameras.
B. Treasurers Report - Randy Strom
Checking: $253,387.05
Savings 1: $135,154.80
Savings 2: $201,115.94
Checks written:
Highway Department - $4,073.56
Kramer Agency - $380.00
Tao Interactive - $299.95
$60 for each judge and moderator at the annual meeting.

C. Assesors Report - Marie Horning

D. Building Inspector's Report - Burleigh County
Four permits were reviewed from the April permit report from Burleigh County
Supervisor Sicble made a motion to approve the permits.

Motion approved.
Dan met with Mitch regarding our contract and we do have a 30 day notice for termination of services.
Article 12 in the contract. However, the contract does also allow for an automatic 5 year renewal.
E. Road Supervisors Report - Roy Kuil
Supervisor Reis made a motion to "let Burleigh County do the approach permits."
Supervisor Sicble 2nd the motion.
Vote: Dan - Yes, Gaylen - Yes, Monte - Yes.
Motion approved.
Burleigh Country will keep the permit fee for the approaches.
There were several complaints on the gravel roads.
Sterling Dr - cost $5,071.86
Bar D Rd - cost $7,331.86 commission Bittner approved this request.
Supervisor Reis made a motion for a $65,000 Road Supervisor budget for this season, that
includes the existing quotes already provided.

Motion approved.
There was a request to extend 132nd Ave where it dead ends, this is not a feasable request.
F. Weed Supervisors Report - Dusty Hasper
Burleigh Country still does not have a weed board. No other updates.
6. Zoning Board
The zoning board was not convened as there was nothing for the board to address. However, the
Rick Johnson mobile home was brought up. Mitch from the County sent two letters to them to address
the illegal mobile home. Mitch will attempt to send a 3rd. Dan is going to followup with Mitch to discuss
next steps.
Report that on Bar D Rd John Holzer has a mess of cars and other randomness on the property. This
will be discussed further at the next meeting.
