Annual Meeting - 2025

This is a draft of the Annual Meeting Minutes until they are approved at the next Annual
Meeting in March of 2026.
In Attendance: Dan Reis, Gaylen Dewing, Jerry Kunz, Terry Woehl, Stephen Schnaible, Dusty Hasper, Marie Horning and Roy Kuil
1. Clerk Schnaible called meeting to order at 7:00pm
2. Clerk Schnaible opened nominations for Judges
Marv Abraham nominates Wanda Dewing
Gaylen Dewing nominates Janele Schwab
Dan Reis nominates Lori Halvorson
Hearing no other nominations, nominations were closed, and judges were selected with unanimous support.
3. Clerk Schnaible opened nominations for Moderator
Marv Abraham nominates Jan Wangler
Hearing no other nominations, nominations were closed, and moderator was selected with unanimous support.
4. Moderator asks for approval of last year's minutes and for reading of minutes to be waived.
Marie Horning makes a motion as such.
Darlyn Kunz 2nds the motion.
Last year's annual meeting minutes approved and reading of minutes waived with unanimous vote.
5. Moderator asks for old business. Hearing none moderator closed old business.
6. Moderator asks for new business. Hearing none moderator closed new business.
7. Moderator asks for a motion regarding compensation for Township officers elected at
meeting.
Roy Kuil made a motion "to pay township officers elected at this meeting
$60."
Gaylen Dewing 2nd the motion.
Vote passed unanimous support.
8. Moderator asks Treasurer for Budget Review and to allow for public review.
Budget was read by Treasurer Randy Strom and presented to the public for view and review.
Requesting $130,000 in apportioning.
Vote for budget and requested apportioning of $130,000 - passed unanimously.
9. Moderator begins nominations for positions that need to be filled.
A. Opens nominations for Board Supervisor
Marv Abraham nominates Brandon Prichard.
Hearing no other nominations, Moderator closes nominations for Board Supervisor.
B. Opens nominations for Zoning Supervisor
Roy Kuil nominates Terry Woehl.
Hearing no other nominations, Moderator closes nominations for Zoning Board.
C. Opens nominations for Clerk
Marv Abraham nominates Sherry Leno.
Hearing no other nominations, Moderator closes nominations for Clerk.
10. Moderator opens polls at 7:25pm.
Moderator closed polls at 9:00pm.
11. Judges canvased the votes at 9:01pm.
12. Clerk Schnaible read statement of results of canvas.
A total of 31 ballots were cast.
Brandon Prichard elected to Board Supervisor with 31 votes.
Terry Woehl elected to Zoning Supervisor with 31 votes.
Sherry Leno elected to Clerk with 31 votes.
13. Clerk Schnaible adjourned the meeting at 9:20.
