Annual Meeting - 2026

This is a draft of the Annual Meeting Minutes until they are approved at the next Annual Meeting in March of 2027.
In Attendance: Dan Reis, Gaylen Dewing, Brandon Prichard, Jerry Kunz, Terry Woehl, Sherry Leno, Dusty Hasper, Randy Strom, Marie Horning, and Roy Kuil
1. Clerk Leno called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm
2. Clerk Leno opened nominations for Judges
Lori Reis nominated Brody Reis
Terry Woehl nominated Laurie Halvorson
Laurie Halvorson nominated Janel Schwab
Hearing no other nominations, nominations were closed, and judges were selected with unanimous support.
3. Clerk Leno opened nominations for Moderator
Jamie Vetsch nominated Marie Horning
Hearing no other nominations, nominations were closed, and the moderator was selected with unanimous support.
Marv Abraham nominated Wendy Bagley as a Certified Parliamentarian
Hearing no objections, Wendy was selected to oversee the voting process
4. Moderator asks for a motion regarding compensation for Township officers elected at
meeting.
Lori Reis made a motion "to pay township officers elected at this meeting
$60.00
Candice Hasper 2nd the motion.
The vote passed with unanimous support.
5. Moderator asks for approval of last year's minutes and for the reading of minutes to be waived.
Brian Masset makes a motion as such.
Janel Vetsch 2nds the motion.
Last year's annual meeting minutes were approved, and the reading of minutes was waived with a unanimous vote.
6. Moderator asks for old business. Hearing none moderator closed old business.
7. Moderator asks for new business. Hearing none moderator closed new business.
8. Moderator asks Treasurer for Budget Review and to allow for public review.
Budget was read by Treasurer Randy Strom and presented to the public for view and review.
Requesting $130,000 in apportioning.
Jamie Vetsch made a motion to accept the budget
Jerry Kunz 2nd the motion
Vote for budget and requested apportioning of $130,000 - passed unanimously.
9. Moderator begins nominations for positions that need to be filled.
A. Opens nominations for Board Supervisor
Brian Masset, Jared Hanson, and James Heaton had submitted their names for the ballot before the meeting.
Hearing no other nominations, Moderator closes nominations for Board Supervisor.
Jared Hansen requested that his name be removed from the list of people for the Supervisor's position. Jared's name was struck from the list.
B. Opens nominations for Zoning Supervisor
Jerry Kunz and Sam Clausnitzer had submitted their names for the ballot before the meeting.
Hearing no other nominations, Moderator closes nominations for Zoning Board.
C. Opens nominations for Treasurer
Randy Strom had submitted his name for the ballot before the meeting.
Hearing no other nominations, Moderator closes nominations for Treasurer.
10. Moderator opens polls at 7:25pm.
Moderator closed polls at 9:37pm.
11. Judges canvased the votes at 9:38pm.
12. Clerk Leno read statement of results of canvas.
A total of 81 ballots were cast.
Brian Masset elected to Board of Supervisors with 56 votes.
Jerry Kunz elected to Zoning Supervisor with 69 votes.
Randy Strom elected to Treasurer with 78 votes.
13. Clerk Leno adjourned the meeting at 10:30 pm.
